butterflies…

Summer of 2011

As a kid, I’ve always admired National Geographic photographers, especially when their subjects were the amazing plant life and creatures of the forest. I grew up observing the power of the camera and was always amazed by the imagery and angles of each frame. Back then, I dreamed of taking those famous nature photos like the great masters did but I didn’t get the chance to really pick up a camera until much later on. Still, I was inspired every time I got the chance to buy a magazine or watch a documentary on the adventures of those courageous photographers out in the field, the wild forests some where on the other side of the world. Those adventures inspired me and have always stuck with me as well as the results of those photographs. Now that I know how to use a camera and I can see the results of my childhood inspirations and can create the picture perfect moment as it comes. Every time I take a photo, I still get butterflies and its just as exciting as the first day I discovered photography.
